James T. Taylor, Sr.

82, of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, IN. James was born August 2, 1931in Greensburg, Kentucky to the late Robert T. & Sarah D. Taylor. He was a Korean War veteran and retired after 40 years of service from GM Allison Transmission as a journeyman. He also belonged to local U.A.W. 933. He was preceded in death by his parents. James is survived by his wife, Lee Yitok Taylor; son, Michael R. Taylor; daughters, Nedra N. Taylor, Joann T. Taylor; and one sister, Virginia Taylor of Campbellsville, Kentucky. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday July 1, 2014 at 12 noon in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior at Crown Hill Funeral Home .
