Phyliss Ann Reder
81, of Indianapolis, passed away July 3, 2014. She was born December 1, 1932 in Bloomington, IN to the late Absolum Alonzo and Pearl Gladys Bastian Bruce.
Phyliss was married to Reverend Donnie Lee Reder and very proud to be a minister's wife. She partnered with him in the study of the scriptures and in preparations of sermons. Phyliss was a faithful member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church and was admired and loved by all.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Service will be Friday, July 11, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Chapel , 9606 E. Washington Street.
Phyliss is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Donnie Reder; devoted daughters, Carla Scalf (David) and Donalee Sharp (Alvin); grandchildren, Michelle Watts (Scott Dewees), Michael Gaton (Amy), Candice Prescott (Brandon), Brittney Milam, Jessica Milam, Christina Reder, Donald Sharp, Angel Sharp, and Alan Sharp; great-grandchildren, Devon Dewees, Grace Gaton, Elyssa Hurst, Victoria Gaton, Brantlee Prescott, and Lucus Prescott; great-great-granddaughter, Isabella Dewees; brothers, Kenneth Bruce and Forrest Bruce; and several nieces and nephews.
