Gary Scott Lee

the Indianapolis 500 radio network and ESPN racing commentator, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014. Gary was born November 27, 1950 in Indianapolis to William P. and Maxine (Kirkhoff) Hill. He received his degree in Broadcasting from Vincennes University with the Class of 1971. He was a former go-cart, sprint and midget racer who was very passionate about the sport of racing. He was an avid supporter of the Indiana Racing Memorial Association.

Gary is survived by his sons, Jason (Andrea) and Sean (Melanie) Lee; grandchildren, Broderick and Beckam Lee.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Friday, July 18, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood .
