Gerald "Jerry" Clem Michael

83, passed away on August 6, 2014. Jerry was born January 19, 1931 in Fairmont, West Virginia to William Denzel and Grace Clem Michael. Jerry proudly served in the United States Air Force as a member of the 19th Bombardment Group. After completing his PhD from Penn State, he spent many years with Hurco and retired as President of the Indiana Microelectronics Center. He proudly served on the Board of Directors at Thomas and Skinner, Inc. In 2002, he received the Science Medal of Distinction from IUPUI. He was honored as a Sagamore of the Wabash in 2000. Jerry was a member of the VFW, a Free Mason and a season ticket holder for the Indianapolis Colts since 1983.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Utt Michael; daughters, Tracy (Ken) Hughes and Kimberlea (John) Gray; sons, Jay (Kelly) and William D. (Jean) Michael; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Paul Michael.

Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2014, at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary , Indianapolis, IN. Funeral Services will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers contributions should be made to CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions, 4755 Kingsway Drive, Suite 200,
