Reba Annette Smith Weaver

91, of Fishers, passed away August 11, 2014. She was born July 9, 1923 in Sonora, KY, to the late Albert Lee and Lutie Patterson Smith.

Reba was a 1940 graduate of Ekron High School, KY. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics from the University of Kentucky in 1946, and later earned a Masters degree from Iowa State University in 1953. Reba married Joseph B. Weaver, and he preceded her in death in 1988.

Reba worked as a Home Demonstration Agent for the Agriculture Extension Service. She was a member of Fishers United Methodist church, a board member of Science Education Foundation of Indiana, active in D.A.R. and a member of PEO Sisterhood, Chapter W-AJ.

A memorial visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Fishers- Castleton Chapel , 9900 Allisonville Rd. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Fishers United Methodist Church, 9690 E. 116th St., Fishers, with visitation one hour prior to service.

Reba is survived by her daughter, Ellen Clark; daughter-in-law, Dee Fisher; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A son, Tom Weaver; and a brother, Nevin Smith, preceded her in death.
