Naomi Bonham

92, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014. She was born August 7, 1922 in Guthrie, Kentucky to the late Lynn and Belle Equals Davis.

Naomi was a long time active member of Franklin Road Baptist Church. In her 45 years there, she was involved in many different programs. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. In her spare time, she was an avid reader and loved to knit and crochet. Above all else was her love for her family - she enjoyed cooking for them and travelling to visit.

Left to cherish her memory is her children Terry (Kay) Bonham and Mae Diann (Wayne) Widgren; grandchildren Angie Ponto, Cindy Fritz, Mark Bonham, Robert Casey Hirt, and Daniel Bonham; seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bernard "Bing" Bonham and three siblings.

The family is being served by Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East , 10722 E. Washington Street, where a Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1 p.m. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service. Entombment will be private at Washington Park East Cemetery.
