Richard "Dick" Caulfield
Died August 19, 2011, in Bloomington, Indiana, following a brief battle with cancer. He was born November 28, 1936, to Howard and Dorothy Caulfield. Dick grew up in Indianapolis, went to Shortridge High School and received a bachelors and masters in education from Indiana University.
Dick spent more than fifty years in the field of education, teaching elementary and middle school, and most recently teaching math education courses at IU-Bloomington. In his free time, Dick enjoyed golfing and watching IU sports.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betsy. He is survived by sons David and Michael (Laura); daughters Elizabeth (Andy) Felt and Holly Cedar; sister Janet Frisbie; and twelve grandchildren.
A memorial service followed by a reception will be held Sat., Aug. 27, at 11:00 a.m. in Trinity Episcopal Church, 111 S. Grant St., Bloomington.
