Steven Eckerman
64, passed away on December 1, 2012. He was a resident of Greenwood. He was born July 2, 1948 in Chicago, IL to the late Arthur and Lee (Stratton) Eckerman.
He married Jo L. Wilkinson on July 7, 1984 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Eckerman and his step-son, Robert Patrick.
Steven was a claim specialist for Safeco Insurance Company before retiring. He was also a stamp collector and a member of the American Philatelic Society.
A memorial service will be conducted at Noon on Saturday, December 8th in Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crem atory, Greenwood Chapel , 481 W. Main St., Greenwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.

I remember Steve well from American States. We had many fun times with the United Way shows and the Claims Crooners. Just had fun in every day work as well. Such a nice, thoughtful person. I can still see the big wide smile on his face. RIP Steve.
