Beverly Lanphere Kubec
84, of Carmel, IN, died December 24, 2012. She was born on September 2, 1928 to Dr. and Mrs. William A. Lanphere in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Lindenwood College and University of Iowa.
Beverly married Willett C. Kubec in 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa. After marrying they moved to Bettendorf, Iowa, where they lived until 2009 when they moved to Carmel.
Beverly was a member of Catholic Services Board, Cinderella Cellar, Junior League and Visiting Nurse Association. In Indianapolis she was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church and Meridian Hills Country Club. She enjoyed golf, bridge, needlepoint and knitting. Most of all Beverly loved being a wife, mother, and "Nonie" to her three grandchildren.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 63 years, Willett C.; daughter, Carolyn McClamroch (Wm. Tobin); grandchildren, Mary McClamroch, Bill McClamroch and Sarah Sullivan (Brian), all of Indianapolis. Also surviving is her brother, William R. Lanphere (Mary) of Storm Lake, Iowa; three nieces and one nephew.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Priority Physicians for their exceptional care. Thanks also to Senior Home Companions and Heartland Hospice for their help and comfort to the family.
