Louise Marie Brannon
83, Stone Mountain, Georgia, formerly of Indianapolis, January 21, 2013.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 9, from 2-5 p.m. at Stuart Mortuary Chapel Unity Center , 2163 N. Illinois St.
Mrs. Brannon spent her entire adult life educating, inspiring, and supporting young people; beginning as Education Director at All Souls Unitarian, to directing the Indianapolis Reading Clinic, to becoming Founder & Directress of The Children's House, Inc. After more than 35 years, she retired from the school in 2007. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Theda Baize; and son, John W. Brannon. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dale Howard and Vineta Brannon of Kentucky; daughters and son-in-law, Thisby Roo Brannon, Oberon and Edward Matheny; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a vast community of 'children' whom she mentored and inspired.
