Mary Mildred "Milly" Worth

The heart and soul of the Worth family, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her children on February 4, 2013. She was born January 12, 1925 in Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Dean Mann; husband, Spencer Worth; daughter, Bonnie Sue Worth Coffman; two grandsons, Ronald Dale Link and Billy Marino; and great-granddaughter, Courtney Rena Link.

Survivors include her children, Janet (Bill) Marino, Spencer "Butch" (Jan) Worth, Micki Link, Samuel Steven (Alice) Worth, Barbara (Ed) Fougerousse, Patty (Mark) Caito and Daniel Worth; son-in-law, Mike Coffman; 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Moore, who is 95.

Milly was retired from Indiana Bell as a telephone operator after 32 years of service and President of the CWA Local 4800 for 17 of the 32 years before retiring. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and during her career as a telephone operator, she saved a man's life. Milly was a member and volunteer at Old Bethel United Methodist Church. She made everyone feel special and enjoyed taking care of her family. Milly was a Colts fan, enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, playing blackjack and euchre, and loved to watch game shows on TV. The family would like to thank Charmaine of Vista Care Hospice for being so loving and taking such wonderful care of Milly.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan - Memorial Park , 9350 E. Washington Street. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
