Carolyn F. Nordholt
89, passed away on Friday morning, Feb. 15, 2013. Born Oct. 5, 1923 to Ernest and Louise Raker, she was a lifelong southside resident and florist, and the widower of Edward B. Nordholt.
A member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and sewing puppies for children at Riley Hospital. She truly cherished time spent with her family.
Survivors: Paul (Debbie) Nordholt, Dale (Dennise) Nordholt, Linda Spaulding; grandchildren, Alisa (David) Dean, Andrea (Luis) Leal, Alan (Rachel) Nordholt, Jeremy (Holly) Spaulding, Matthew (Brandi) Spaulding, Angie Terrell, Adam (Lyn) Terrell; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray (Ginny) Raker and Arvine (Geneva) Raker; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Fred, Charlie and Rich Raker.
Visitation will be on Sun., Feb. 17 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home , with the funeral service there at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 18. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Online condolences may be shared with the family at: http://www.ghherrmann.com
