Bruce L. Paramore

52, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 in his home. Bruce was born on January 24, 1961 in Lafayette. He was a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor's and Master's in Electrical Engineering and a member of Theta Tau Fraternity.

Bruce was very active in the community as a volunteer with many organizations including the Muscular Dystrophy Association, where he coordinated the volunteers and the Indianapolis Ambassadors. He was honored by the Ambassadors with the creation and first recipient of the "Bruce Paramore Lifetime Achievement Award." Among his proud memories was singing with the Billy Graham choir on their visit to Indianapolis.

Since graduation from Purdue, he worked as a computer engineer and as an independent consultant and for several companies including IBM, AT&T and most recently Quest Information Systems where he was a Senior Software Engineer. He obtained many professional certifications including the highest offered by Microsoft.

Bruce earned his Eagle Scout award in 1976 and served as the current Precinct Committeeman for Fall Creek Township.

Friends and family are invited to gather from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11 in Flanner and Bucha nan - Carmel . Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12 in Carmel United Methodist Church.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Brinda; step-daughters, Heather Bragg and Amanda Townsend; grandson, Darren; mother, Gail A. Paramore; brothers, Tim and Dennis (wife, Denise) Paramore; sisters-in-law, Christine Usher and Jennifer Jack; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father William Paramore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
