Ronald Lee "Rambo" Kortz

64, Indianapolis, passed away on December 23, 2013. Ron was born on March 30, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland to Annie Virginia (Shifflett) Hackley. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Ann Smith Kortz and children, Ronald L. Kortz II, Brandy Sativa (Kortz) Huffman (Tim), April D. Kortz-Ashlock (Julie), Michael L. Kortz (Vicki), Joshua T. Kortz, and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Benjamin Kortz and brother, Ben Kortz. He is survived by 8 brothers and sisters.

Ron served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969-1972 and was a disabled veteran. Ron retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2009. His passions in life were his wife, kids and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 in Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park North from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., with a memorial service at 4 p.m. Online condolences may be made at: http://www.flannerbuchanan.com
