Thomas Copeland Conley

Former Indpls City Engineer who completed I465 and engineered Eagle Creek Dam/reservoir passed on 12/24 in Mesa AZ. Born in Hamilton Co on May 12,1921 to Frank and Ruby Conley, he served as a WWII Navy Seabee, building roads and airstrips in Hawaii and Iwo Jima. Following the war, he was a construction engineer 15 years, including with City parks. Following Indpls, he became Hammond IN City Engineer. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn and children: Patrice, Kevin, Karen, Colleen, Kathleen, Terrence, Erin and Monica and 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and Carmel Conleys.
