Betty Jean Krodel Conolty

90, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2014, fortified through the love of her family and the Holy Sacraments of the church. Betty Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Lee. She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Michael) Moxley, Maureen (Gary) Furnish, Ellen Conolty, Sheila (Jay) Bernard and Kevin (Gayle) Conolty; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Born in Jasper, Indiana, Betty Jean was an RN at St. Vincent Hospital for many years and a volunteer at The Little Sisters of the Poor and at her parish, St. Luke Catholic Church. Besides her family, she leaves behind a beautiful legacy of integrity, honesty, and selfless unconditional love. She had the ability of making every child, grandchild, niece, nephew and friend feel they were the most important person in her life. She will be missed by many.

Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. in the Fr. Courtney room at St. Luke Catholic Church followed by mass at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor - St. Augustine Home, Indianapolis. Arrangements handled by Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple .
