Jane B. Shivers
78, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed April 28, 2014 with her loving Husband present. Jane was born Jan 9, 1936 in London, England and moved to New York City during WWII. Jane fought the good fight against lung cancer. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Psychology and worked and volunteered in the service of helping others. Her greatest passion was helping and caring for people. It was her business and her life. She was a wonderful partner and companion, an amazing mother, a great friend and a compassionate caregiver. Jane was preceded in death by her son, James Douglas, her parents, Dr. A.I. and Emmy Rosenstein. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Lynn P. Shivers; son, Todd L. Shivers; Granddaughters, Courtney Holland and Kelsey Shivers; brother, Dr. Roy Rosenstein; cousins, Elizabeth Szago, Peter and Robert Woog; nieces, Lynn Stevens and Patricia Brown. If you knew her, you loved her. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive Indianapolis, IN 46228. A private Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society. I worked with Jane at CTB. I can't believe she was 78. She was always cheerful, youthful, and cared about others. I will miss her along with many others at our "CTB" family. Mary Kay
