Rose Mary Hawn

60, Rose Hawn lost her courageous battle to breast cancer on Tuesday evening with her four loving daughters by her side. She passed away peacefully and her faith was a great comfort to her. Rose was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Harold and Amy Hawn of Grand Rapids, MI.

Rose was a devoted mother to her four daughters. She rarely missed a swim meet, orchestra or band concert, tennis match or any school events. She built her family through adoption. She leaves behind four beautiful girls; Aimee Mei Hawn (19 Hunan Province), Halle Faith Hawn (19 Fu Zhou Province), Jaide Elizabeth Lin Hawn (16 Guangdong Province), Rachel Rose Hawn (15 Hunan Province) She was very active with both the Indiana Chapters of Families with Children from China and the Indiana Association of Chinese Americans. Rose was proudest of being her "girls" mom!

She is also survived by her sister Suzy Miller and nephew Daniel Baker of Grand Rapids Michigan.

Rose had a very successful 24 year career with SIMON Property Group. Rose enjoyed her work and especially the creative aspects and excelled at event planning and coordination.

Rose was a devout Christian and her faith was a tremendous support for her and her family. Rose has many friends and enjoyed spending time with all them. She liked to camp and spent time each summer with family and friends in Grand Haven, Michigan. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed being outside, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.

The family wishes to thank her Oncologist Dr. Jennifer Morgan who served Rose with grace.
