Ronald P. Kaster
70, Indianapolis passed away August 18, 2014. He was born August 26, 1943 at Beech Grove to the late Allen R. and Rose M. Marksberry Kaster. Ron married Susan E. "Sue" Sledd October 31, 1964 at Coronado, Calif and she survives. Other survivors include daughter Laurie (Clint) Otter, Niantic, Conn; sons Greg (Kathryn) Kaster, Pendleton and Mark (Stephanie) Kaster, Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; sisters Rose Ann Liggett, Bloomington and Inez (Doug) Yohler, Indianapolis. He was also preceded in death by brothers Russell, Richard, and Robert Kaster. Ron was employed 38 years at Detroit Diesel Allison Division of General Motors retiring in 2003 from the heat treat area.
He was a Navy Veteran; a 1961 Cathederal High School Graduate and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Visitation will be Thursday, August 21 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the The Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial Gifts have been suggested to St. Jude Catholic Church or Parkinson's Awareness Association of Central Indiana, Inc.
