Lowell Crady Obituary
82, passed from this life Monday, April 20, 2015. Born in Indiana, he was the son of the late Earl and Irene (Crippen) Crady. Sadly, Tony was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Lucie Mae Crady in 2010. Tony was proud to be an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Following military service, he became a teacher in Perry Township, Indiana. He was also an entrepreneur owning two Stride Rite shoe stores in Indianapolis.Tony and Lucy moved to The Villages from Indianapolis in 1997. He was a participant in The Villages' Senior Games and particularly enjoyed pickleball and golfing.
Tony leaves behind and will be greatly missed by brothers, Carl Crady (Alice) of Riverview, FL, William Crady (Helen) of Indianapolis, IN, a sister, Gail Adkins of Indianapolis, IN and numerous nieces and nephews and several good friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, from 4 to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Hiers-Baxley on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

Thank you for the kind and encouraging words from all who remember my beloved Uncle Tony. Our family is heartbroken. Though Tony lived a long life on earth, he still left us too soon. Im sorry for your loss, Mr Crady was my very favorite teacher of all time. I had him in 5th grade at Glenns Valley. I will always remember him.
