James Clonce Obituary
86, Indianapolis, passed away March 13, 2016. Born Dec. 20, 1929 in Shirley, IL to the late Milem and Ruth (Carpenter) Clonce, he was a US Army veteran of the Korean War Era. He retired from Peerless Pump after 26 years. His memberships included, American Legion Post No. 276, Ernie Pyle V.F.W. and the Moose Lodge. An avid NASCAR fan, he enjoyed watching basketball, bowling, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include children, Jack Horsley, Pamela (George) Carlisle, Regina (Curt) Neal; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Annie Clonce; his longtime companion, Helen Williams and her family; Ed & Pat Pagel; Lincoln & Leslie Pagel; Lauren & Lillian. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Clonce in 1985; three brothers and one sister.
Visitation: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave, folllowed by the the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions: Disabled American Veterans.
