JOSEPH HYKEL Obituary
JOSEPH G., Dec. 20, 2012. Husband of the late Phyllis (nee Poorman) Hykel of Wynnewood PA. Father of Margaret Eberly, Susan Yundt, Carol Dailey and Rachel Hykel; also survived by 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild, brother of Adele Barakat and the late George Hykel and Mary Toogood. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday Dec. 27, 2012 St. Denis Church, E. Eagle and St. Denis Roads, Haver-town, PA at 11 A.M., where relatives and friends may visit the family after 10 A.M. Int. St. Denis Cem. In lieu of flowers donations in Mr. Hykel's name to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

I joined Carol, Rachel and their father for dinner on two occasions. Mr. Hykel had the most colorful stories of his life. Like so many of his generation, he was determined to become a successful entrepreneur. Every time he was knocked down, he'd get back up. He had a pride in his voice and a twinkle in his eye that said "I did it". Well done Mr. Hykel...rest in peace.
