BARKAN HARRY Age 99, Of Wynnewood, PA, passed away on January 11, 2021. Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Levy) for 73 years. Loving father of Ira (Ellen Sinoff) and Frank (Sharyn). Grandfather of Jonathan (Brooke), Allyson and Paris. Great grandfather of Evan and Hannah. Harry was a graduate of Overbrook High School and Temple University. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star in the Pacific Theater. Upon returning, he became a Certified Public Accountant and was a partner in the Philadelphia CPA firm Rudolph, Palitz & Company. After retiring, he launched a second "career" of computer training on cruise ships which allowed he and Evelyn to cruise around the world several times. A private Graveside Service was held at Shalom Memorial Park. Contributions in Harry's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. www.levinefuneral.com
