STANLEY WEISS Obituary
DR. STANLEY, May 13, 2015. Husband of Beverly (nee Shankman), father of Alyse (Glenn) Unterberger, brother of Sydell (Charles) Tauber and Charna Reichel, grandfather of Sam (Alison) and Andrew Unterberger. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Friday, 1 P.M. precisely, at Temple Adath Israel, 250 N. Highland Ave., Merion Station. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Alyse and Glenn Unterberger, Bala Cynwyd. Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

My memories of Stan go back to our youth and especially the many summers we spent together in the Borscht Belt. Time and circumstances interfered as we got older. My prayers go to Beverly, Sydell and Charna, who I knew well, and hope your families help you through this time of sorrow and may all the precious memories of Stan ease your pain. Stan was a big part of my life, as we directed the Institute for Human Fitness in Fort Worth, from 1980 to 1988. We ran together, and shared our hopes and dreams for our families and friends. We worked tirelessly on the immensely successful Cowtown Marathon, along with Beverly, who kept us both centered. Stan was a true brother to me, and I have missed him since he and Bev moved back to Philadelphia. His friendship, and his accomplishments will extend far beyond his time here on this earth.
