Alan Musante Mar. 11, 1947- Jul. 24, 2015 Oakland, California Al passed away peacefully in San Francisco, California on July 24, 2015, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was a loving father of daughter, Alexis Musante and son, Brian Musante, and loving husband of Pat Marino; beloved son to Alfred John Musante Sr. & Tiziana C. Musante; loving brother to Annette Finanne, Alana Musante and Jay Musante; loving brother-in-law to Dan Finanne, Gregg Hall, Judy Musante and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. Al was born and raised in Oakland, California. He attended Bishop O' Dowd High School, Santa Clara University & JFK School of Law. Al treasured his days at the Loyola Rome Center where he met his wife, Pat Marino, with whom he shared 45 wonderful years. Al worked in commercial real estate for over 30 years. Al cherished his friendships from childhood, his college days including the Rome center & from his time at Coldwell Banker & Colliers International. His joy and love for his family came first, but his other loves included the Golden State Warriors, Oakland Raiders and Oakland A's, hiking in Redwood Park & Hawaii. He loved his city and was proud of being an Oakland native. At the heart of it all was Al's commitment to his family, loyalty to his friends & living a principled life with great integrity. May his memory be eternal. Mass will be held in honor of Al Friday July 31, 2015 at St. Theresa Church, 30 Mandalay Road, Oakland, CA 94618 at 10:30am, followed by a private burial. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bishop O' Dowd High School, East Bay Regional Parks and The John Felice Rome Center at Loyola University, Chicago.

George Pasqual Mendoza April 23, 1923 - July 12, 2015 Resident of Lihue, Kauai He touched many lives with his gentle spirit and positive outlook on life. George was born in Saloa Fayal, Azores, Portugal. He came to the U.S. in 1926, graduated from McClymonds, played baseball for the Texas Lubbers, C. League, joined the Merchant Marines, became a teamster driving for Canada Dry and then he drove for Lucky Stores retiring from there in 1986. He coached his grandson Tyler's Little League team for 2 years. His biggest hobby was fishing at Berryessa. George is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Judy; devoted children Patricia Melton of Kauai, Michael Mendoza of Valley Springs, Maureen Ahl of San Pablo, predeceased by Martin Mendoza of San Pablo; 4 grandchildren Tyler, Angelina, Randal, Vaughn, and 4 great-grandchildren. Family and Friends are invited to a graveside service at Rolling Hills Memorial Park on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11 am. Wilson & Kratzer (510) 232-4383
