Betty Falck May 21, 1941 - June 18, 2016 Alamo, California Betty Ann Falck passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. Betty was born in Corpus Christi, TX to Olaf & Lydia Maakestad. The family moved to Southern California when she was 4, where 10 years later she met her future husband Richard. They married on 8/22/59, and later moved to Santa Barbara, CA, where they raised their 3 children Rick, Donna & Kendra. Betty earned her bachelors degree at Antioch University in 1982. Betty served on the Board of Planned Parenthood, served as a Docent at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. Betty's love of nature was deep and she wanted to make a difference in childrens lives introducing them to animals and the beauty of nature. After Richard & Betty's first grandchild was born they moved to Alamo, CA to be near family in 1996. In Alamo Betty was involved in the Diablo Valley Assistance League, New Comers, Babes with Boot's Hiking Club, Round Hill Country Club Women's Half Rounders. Betty's favorite time was spent with her husband, children and grandchildren and her 2 dogs. Betty is survived by Richard, her husband of 57 years, her three children Rick Falck, Donna Tomlinson and Kendra Brown, her sons in law Kevin Tomlinson and Paul Brown, and her 4 grandchildren, Rachel & Jack Tomlinson, Chad Johnson, and Lani Brown, and her beloved dogs Buddy and Tess. In lieu of flowers please donate to one of her 3 favorite charities; Planned Parenthood, Save Mount Diablo or the Diablo Valley Assistance League. Feagan, Michael  
Michael Feagan Aug. 28, 1952 - June 3, 2016 Stockton Michael James Feagan passed away at age 63 on June 3rd, 2016. Preceded in death by his Mother, Barbara Feagan, Father, John Feagan, & beloved fiancée Deborah Dowell. He is survived by his loving children, Michael Feagan of Spokane WA, and Kristi Cates of Melbourne FL, his brother & sisters, Robert Feagan, Kathleen Moore, Patty Johnson, & Colleen McKenzie. He was also the devoted grandfather of four, and uncle to many nieces & nephews. He will be remembered for his big personality & even bigger heart, booming laugh, his faith, his love of country, and his devotion to family and friends. As a Harley Davidson enthusiast, he would often speak of his love of the open road, the brotherhood, experiences, and relationships made over the years. A celebration of Michael's life will be held July 9th, 2016 at 1:00pm at Stouffer Hall 259 N. Wilma Ave. Ripon, Ca. Izola Feil May 20, 1933 ~ June 21, 2016 Resident of Livermore Izola Feil peacefully passed away on June 21. She can now be reunited with her beloved husband Richard Feil who left us just one year ago. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 29th at 2:00PM at Callaghan Mortuary. 3833 East Avenue, Livermore, CA. Fennell, Gail Raffaelli "Fridjhon"  
Gail Raffaelli Fennell "Fridjhon" Aug. 6, 1933 - June 10, 2016 Resident of Orinda Gail was born August 6, 1933 to William Joseph and Tosca Raffaelli in San Francisco, CA. She was 100% Italian with family origins from Lucca. Gail was an only child, who was raised by her parents in the Marina District. She was very close to her cousins Gloria Benson, and Bob Celli, who grew up nearby. Gail graduated from Lowell High School in San Francisco, and also U.C. Berkeley obtaining a BA in English. She was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She met and married John R. Fennell "Jack" in San Francisco. Together they had two children: Alisa and John. Gail and Jack were married for 35 years and continued to have a close friendship until Jack's passing last year. The family moved to Westport CT, and lived there for 10 + years from 1961 - 1972. While in Connecticut, Gail raised her family, taught elementary school, traveled with Jack and enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends and clients. She loved to decorate and was a gracious host. In 1972, Gail and her family moved back to California residing in Orinda. Gail was a travel agent at Orinda Travel for many years. After her granddaughters were born, one of the highlights for Gail was to watch the girls together with Jack on Mondays. Gail married Lionel Fridjhon in 1998. Together they traveled to his home country of South Africa, and also Istanbul, Norway, Wales, Napa and many other places. Lionel made her laugh, and they shared wonderful memories together. She loved Saturday night dinners out with friends and family, was an avid reader and for years enjoyed her book group with close friends. Gail was a classy woman and a very positive person. She will be greatly missed. Gail is survived by her two children - Alisa Ardeth Fennell (Richard Hart), John Martin Fennell (Catherine Fennell), beloved granddaughters - Stephanie Anne Fennell, Sarah Lindsay Fennell, nieces and nephews – Steve Sciamanna, and Sue Sciamanna, first cousins – Jeanne Raffaelli Affolter, and Barbara Raffaelli Hilland, first cousins "once removed" - Darcy Benson, Jim Benson, Paul Celli, Becky Celli, Robert Celli, and Matthew Celli. Service: Memorial Mass/Celebration of Life-Reception: 6-30-16 – 10:30 AM, St. Monica Parish, 1001 Camino Pablo, Moraga. Donations: National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to a Charity of Your Choice.
