A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Sunday May 29, 2016 at Montclair Presbyterian Church, 5701 Thornhill Drive (Oakland). Harmoney, Robert  
Robert Harmoney July 24, 1938 - Feb. 17, 2016 Pleasant Grove, CA Robert age 77, peacefully passed away in Sacramento on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. He was born on July 24, 1938 in Lexington, Nebraska to Dewey Fred Harmoney and Myrtle (Axtill) Harmoney and was the youngest of 5 children. Bob's gentle spirit will live on through his beloved wife of 53 years, Betty; daughters, Sherri Stanley, Shelli Freeman and Bobbi Ginn; five grandchildren; three sisters and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and Brother Ernest Harmoney. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on May 21, 2016 at 1:00 pm at The Diamond H Ranch in Pleasant Grove. Robert S. Helm May 29, 1924 ~ May 6, 2016 Lifetime Resident of Oakland It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father on May 6, 2016. He was born and raised in Oakland, California. Bob was a World War II veteran proudly serving in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific. Predeceased by his lov­ing wife of 51 years Anita Aurelia Helm. Father of Richard Sherwood Helm (Barbara), Judith Louise Helm, Richard Hamilton Helm, Victoria Louise Gambetta (Dick), and Patricia Ann Bassett (Mark). Grandfather of Kasia Lynn Schrader (Paul), Spencer Bowler Helm (Nicole), and Christopher Robert Helm. Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland. In lieu of flowers, dona­tions in Bob's memory can be made to the Marin Bocce Federation, 550 B Street, San Rafael, CA 94901. All contributions will be given to the Special Olympics bocce team. Joseph Hendricks Jun. 29, 1947 - May 16, 2016 Resident of Fremont Joseph Dayton Hendricks passed away Monday, May 16th at his home in Fremont, CA. He was the Beloved Father of Janette Hansen of San Jose, Stacie Hendricks of Fremont, and Jason Hendricks of Grass Valley. Loving Grandfather to his eight grandchildren. Joe was a General Superintendent and Union Carpenter for Roof Structures, Inc. for 40 years. Hengl, Adolph  
Adolph Hengl Dec. 26, 1916 – May 14, 2016 Resident of Livermore Adolph passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 99. Adolph was born in Sidney, Nebraska to Frank and Sophia Hengl. He was the oldest of nine children. Adolph was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Helen in 2000. He is survived by his children Kathy Simolon (Greg), Larry Hengl, Richard Hengl (Cindy), Mary Hengl, Stephen Hengl (Carol), 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Upon graduation from high school, Adolph enlisted in the Navy. He was on board the Battleship Tennessee during the attack at Pearl Harbor and is considered one of the oldest Pearl Harbor survivors. Adolph specialized in aircraft maintenance and retired after 28 years as a Lt. Commander. Thru out his life Adolph enjoyed fixing anything mechanical and creating finished furniture on his shop smith. His attitude was that any part could be fixed or created by his hand. Viewing will be held at 10AM and a celebration of Adolph's Life Mass at 11AM on Monday May 23, 2016 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1315 Lomitas Ave, Livermore, CA. Henninger, Clara Belle  
Clara Belle Henninger March 25, 1920 - May 15, 2016 Hayward CA Clara Belle Henninger was born March 25, 1920 near Unionville Iowa to Carl Ahee and Ethyl Sylvania Roberts Ahee. She was raised in Turlock, CA and received her nursing degree from UC Berkeley. She met her husband Arleigh Henninger at the Naval Hospital in Seattle, WA in 1945. They married 4 years later and bought a house in Hayward where they raised their two children. Clara Belle was a Navy nurse, and she worked for Alameda County, Planned Parenthood and HUSD as a nurse. Clara Belle and Arleigh traveled the USA and the world in retirement. Her interests also included bowling, horseshoes, ceramics, needlecrafts, Women's groups and gardening. Clara Belle is predeceased by her parents and her siblings Carl Ahee and Echo Pauline Essen and her husband of 65 years, Arleigh. She is survived by her daughter Joan Fosdick and son Roy Henninger, his wife Marilyn Moreno, her grandchildren Brent and Kevin Fosdick, Jose Moreno Brooks, Bianca and Carlos Henninger and her great grandson Jacob Fosdick. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 11:00 am, at the First United Methodist Church at 1183 B St., Hayward CA 94541 Memorial donations may be sent to the Hill and Valley Club at 1808 B St., Hayward CA 94541, for their Scholarship Fund. Hinsberger, Emory Ralph  
Emory Ralph Hinsberger Former resident of Alameda Emory "Ralph" Hinsberger, a longtime resident of Alameda, passed away May 5, 2016 in Davis, CA. He was 87 years old. Life began for Ralph on a farm in rural Fresno County where he was born to Emory Ralph, Senior and Elsa Zander Hinsberger. He graduated from Fresno State College and UC Berkeley. Ralph was employed as a librarian at the Main Branch of the Alameda Free Library for over 30 years. He greatly enjoyed traveling, his pet cats and the opera. He is survived by his loving sister, Carol Scharding, also of Davis and two nieces. At Ralph's request no services were held. Donations in remembrance of Ralph may be made to the East Bay SPCA or the charity of your choice.
