Petropulos, Angelo Dimitrios  
Angelo Dimitrios Petropulos Aug. 27, 1919-Apr. 30, 2015 Resident of Santa Rosa Angelo passed away after a brief illness at the age of 95 in Santa Rosa, California. He was born in Fresno, California to his Greek immigrant parents: Dimitrios Petropulos and Eugenia Derdivanis. He grew up in Fresno with his three brothers Steve, John and Chris. Angelo was a standout athlete at Fresno Tech High School and Fresno State, lettering in baseball, basketball and track. He enlisted in the Army in 1941 and fought as a First Lieutenant in the Philippines until 1946. In 1952 Angelo married his true love Elge Condues and moved to the Bay Area. He embarked on a career at the Leamington Florist, where he retired in 1978. He lived in Piedmont with his wife and two loving daughters, Demetra and Lethea, until his beloved Elge passed away in April 1976. He was an avid 49er fan his entire life. Angelo moved to San Ramon and then resided with Mary Riggle in Moraga for 28 years. He spent his last months in Santa Rosa, living with his daughter Lethea and son-in-law Jeff Snow. Angelo is survived by his daughters Demetra and Lethea; granddaughters Lauren Rheinecker, Kathryn Pachak, and Natalie Chamberlain; great-granddaughters Olivia and Madeline; son-in-laws Rick Chamberlain and Jeff Snow; great granddaughter-in-law Breigha Pachak and great grandson-in-law Michael Rheinecker. A viewing will occur at Albert Brown Mortuary on May 3, 2015 from 1:00-5:00pm. Funeral services will be held at The Greek Orthodox Church of the Ascension, 4700 Lincoln Ave., Oakland, CA on May 4, 2015 at 11 o'clock. Schleicher, Robert  
Robert Schleicher Aug. 14, 1913 - Feb. 11, 2015 Long time resident of Oakland Passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on February 11, 2015 in Castro Valley at the age of 101. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Dorothy Schleicher. He is survived by his children Robert Schleicher, Jr., Joan Jacobs, and Bill Schleicher. Bob was also the adoring Grandfather of Justin, Jenna & Julie Jacobs and Matthew, Michael & Amy Schleicher. He was also the Great-Grandfather of four. Bob was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy and served at Pearl Harbor during World War II. After the war he worked for more than 35 years as a Teamster, driving for Revelation Cleaning in Alameda and later became part owner in the business. He served for many years as the Recording Secretary for Teamsters Local 70 and after his retirement he worked for the Oakland A's, helping the handicapped and elderly at the games. Bob loved to swim, play tennis and especially loved to dance. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Private Services will be held. Viscovich, Eva  
Eva Viscovich October 18, 1923 - April 16, 2015 Resident of Castro Valley Eva Viscovich, 91, formerly of Castro Valley, passed away on April 16, 2015 in Auburn, CA. Eva was born in Italy to Petar and Ivana Car on October 18, 1923. She was raised in Oakland, CA and spent the duration of her career as a bookkeeper and retail clerk. Eva was married to her late, beloved husband Anthony Viscovich for forty nine years. Together they raised their three children in Castro Valley. She is survived by her brother Anton Car (Charlotte), her children, Peter Viscovich (Jeanie), Kenneth Viscovich (Mary), and Judy Dowell, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many extended family members. She enjoyed cooking, (and was famous for her crab bordelaise and prime rib), entertaining, traveling, and especially spending time with her family. Although she will be sadly missed by her family and friends, she will be forever remembered for her generosity, exquisite cooking skills, festive parties, and warmhearted hospitality. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, 3433 Somerset Avenue, Castro Valley, CA 94546.

Drake, William  
William Drake April 4, 1926 - April 29, 2015 Fremont Bill was born in Burbank OK to Linsey & Viola Drake. The family moved to Madera CA in 1939, While there Bill met his 1 and only true Love Frances Russell they married on Oct. 8, 1944. Together they moved to Fremont in 1945 and raised 5 children. Bill loved to travel, fish, & hunt. Bill was retired from BFI as an operating engineer. Bill also belonged to several Portuguese organizations; he was President of the Newark Holy Ghost Festa in 1968 & 1986 and was the State Supreme President of the former SES in 1988. Bill is survived by his spouse of 70+ years Frances. Daughters Barbara Boudreau (Rick), Linda Schlug (Alton), Fran Carvalho (Jim). Son David Drake (Jeanette), daughter-in-law Sue Drake, 21 grandchildren; 20 great children. Bill is preceded in death by both of his parents his son William L Drake, grandson Kenneth Drake, granddaughter Tisha Rogers, his sisters Dorothy & Buelabelle, & many others. Visitation will be Tuesday May 5th 4-7 pm at Chapel of the Angels 40842 Fremont, Blvd. Fremont Funeral Mass will be Wednesday May 6th 12 noon At Our Lady of Guadalupe Church 41933 Blacow Rd Fremont. Gee, Raymond  
Raymond Gee October 8, 1929 - April 16, 2015 Berkeley Ray, a dedicated Berkeley resident, passed away peacefully on April 16 at the age of 85 surrounded by family and many friends. He was born in San Francisco and attended St. Mary's Missionary School, Francisco Jr. High, Polytechnic High School, and Chung Wah Chinese School. He recently reunited with classmates from all 4 schools. He served in the U.S. Army in Japan for 3 years during the Korean War. After military service, he received a BA and MBA at Armstrong College. He worked at Libby's and SCM until he opened his own tax accounting practice. His business thrived for decades, fed by his love of helping people. Ray was immersed in the community, serving as President of the El Cerrito Rotary Club, President and Co-founder of the East Bay Enrolled Agents Association, Board Member of the North Berkeley Senior Center and Treasurer of his home owners association. He served as a volunteer tax consultant at the Senior Center every year until this tax season. His goal in life was to make things better for family, clients, and friends whom he considered family. He is predeceased by his wife, Elsie, and is survived by his children, David (Amy) and Carolann Hinkle; his grandchildren, Dylan, Austin, Devyn and Kasha; his brothers, Thomas (Barbara Chin) and Daniel (Mary) Chin; his sisters, Betty (Gordon) Loui and Nancy Jee, and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and scores of loving friends. Ray was an avid 49er fan and a loyal supporter of the SF Opera. He was a plant-lover, and enjoyed artistic painting, wood etching and carpentry. A celebration of Ray's life will be held at 2 p.m., on May 30th at the Thousand Oaks Baptist Church, 1821 Catalina Ave. in Berkeley. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray's memory may be sent to the Chinatown YMCA, 855 Sacramento St., SF, CA 94108; or to the San Francisco Opera, 301 Van Ness Ave., SF, CA 94102.

Holguin, Linda Lee  
Linda Lee Holguin June 15, 1953 - April 29, 2015 Resident of Fremont Born June 15, 1953 in California and entered into rest on April 29, 2015 in Fremont, California at the age of 61. Survived by her daughters: Charlotte Holguin, and Tina Holguin; grandchildren: Leanna, Victor, Colton, John John, Thomas, Ally, Dennis, Sabrina, and Tiffany; great-grandchildren: Justin, Katelyn, Amiah, and Joslynn; and siblings: Mary and Gary Ulibarri, Victor and Sandy Reichmuth, and Glen Reichmuth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Linda loved to dance, spend time with family and friends, and shop. She also loved playing cards, and 10,000. She fought one hell of a fight in her battle with cancer. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 4, from 5-8pm with a Chapel Service at 6:30pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Inurnment at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont, CA.

Radosevich, Olga  
Olga Radosevich Jan 27, 1938 - April 25, 2015 Oakland Olga Marie Radosevich, age 77, died at home in Oakland, CA, on Saturday, April 25, 2015, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on January 27, 1938, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, where she lived before settling in Oakland. She worked as an x-ray technician for over 45 years, the last 37 years at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley, CA, retiring in 2000. Olga loved to hike, garden, travel, read and go camping. Olga was kind, generous and considerate. She was a great friend to all that knew her and had a true love for animals. The Hong family fondly thought of her as their god daughter. Proceeded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Radosevich; brother in-law, Charles R. Henderson, Sr.; and nephew Mark Henderson. Survivors include her partner and best friend, Rose Hong; sister, Emilia Henderson, of Rock Springs, Wyoming; niece, Ellen Currier (Jim); nephew, Charles R. Henderson, Jr. (Lela); 1 grand niece; 2 grand nephews; 8 great nieces; 3 great nephews; 1 great great nephew; the Hong Family; many cousins and friends. No services will be held at her request. Redding, Robert "Bob"  
Robert "Bob" Redding Jan. 22, 1938 – April 28, 2015 Resident of Union City Bob was born in Oakland and lived most of his life in the Tri-Cities area including the last 41 years in Union City. One of twelve siblings, his family was well-known in Fremont, and he graduated from Washington High School. Bob served in the Air Force then found his place in the trucking industry, driving and working the docks for many years. He was very proud to be a Teamster (Local 70) and had many good friends in the Brotherhood. A country boy at heart, Bob enjoyed keeping animals of all sorts. As a young man he was devoted to horses, especially Arabians, and was an accomplished western horseman. In later years his racing pigeons kept him busy. He loved the outdoors, loved to read, and loved to meet people everywhere he went. Bob's open mind, generous heart, and friendly grin brightened the lives of all he met. He cared nothing for material gain, but was always ready to give whatever was needed to anyone he considered a friend – and all were friends. He is loved and missed by daughter Tiffany, son-in-law Kevin and grandchildren Kyan and Sage; son Rob, daughter-to-be Rhonda and grandchildren Dylan, Jessica and Jenna; and many dear friends and relatives, including sisters Beverly Klein and Judy Nichols and brother Jim Redding. Above all he is mourned by his beloved wife Carol (Shirley Carolyn Morse), his teenage sweetheart, to whom he was married for 50 years. A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will be held 5:00 pm Thursday May 7 at Christ's Community Church, 25927 Kay Ave., Hayward, CA 94545.

Luella Audrey Carroll Dec. 19, 1928-April 24, 2015 Resident of Hayward Luella Audrey Carroll passed away on April 24, 2015 to be with the Lord at the age of 86. She was born on her family's wheat farm in Beiseker, Alberta Canada. Luella was pre-deceased by her parents John and Lydia Braunberger and sister Florence. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Robert A Carroll, her sons Dennis Carroll and Richard Carroll, daughters and son-in-laws Susan Zerino (Carlos Zerino) and Cynthia Chavez (Mario Chavez). She leaves behind six grandchildren: Jasmine, Cassandra, Allison, Carlos, Ashley, Leanna, and one great-granddaughter Kameron. Just out of High School Luella worked for Pacific Bell Telephone Company and later became a housewife. Her hobbies were gardening, oil painting, sewing, making porcelain dolls and teddy bears. She was a member of The Village Church of Hayward and very active with the church events and sang in the choir. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Celebration of her life will be held at Redwood Chapel at 19300 Redwood Road, Castro Valley, CA on Monday May 4th, 2015 11:00 AM.
