Gene Sare

Gene Raymond Sare Resident of Tracy Gene, 83 passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family after a short battle with the "cooties". He was born April 10, 1930 in Boise, Idaho to the late Mary and Tom Sare. An Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Sare resided in Tracy for the last 16 years. He worked for nearly 35 years as an educator in the Fremont area. A devoted husband, father and family man; Gene was always a friend to the friendless and will be remembered for his loving and giving nature. He leaves behind his wife Kathy Sare of Tracy. Children: David Sare of Fremont; Shauna Little and husband Tom of Highland, UT; Erin Bishop and husband Randy of Pleasanton; Jared Sare & wife Alayne of Fremont; Shauna Baker and husband Chuck of Tracy; Crystyl Robbins of Colville, WA; Nick Price and wife Stefanie of Tracy; Rusty Price and wife Cori of Modesto; and brother Bob Sare and wife Mary Alice of Smithfield, UT. He was also blessed with 22 cherished grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is honored to serve the Sare Family. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 12300 West Valpico Rd., Tracy. He will be laid to rest at a private ceremony at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Fremont.
