Born in Norfolk, VA to the late Jasper and Florence Brown. Lula was the beloved wife of Michael Patterson. Mother of Linda (Vince) Alves, Reynoldo (Irene) Reboton, Florentin (Mila) Reboton, Roderick (Debbie) Reboton, Augustine (Patti) Carraway, Bernard (Barbara) Nestal, Florence Eash, Sylvia (Roland) Beles. Grandmother to 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her late husband, Florentin Reboton, son Frankie Ramirez and daughter Juliette Reboton.
Moved to San Francisco in 1945. She then moved to Oakland in 1955 to the home where she raised her family and resided until her passing. She was the heart and soul of her family, a caring humanitarian, who loved to cook and share a story or two with good company. She will be deeply missed by all who knew, loved and cherished her.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, March 2, 2014, 2:00pm – 6:00pm, and are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 10:30am, all at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services, 2694 Blanding Ave., Alameda, followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.
