WINIFRED AIRAUDI Loving Mother & Devoted Grandmother Resident of Redwood City Winifred "Winnie" Airaudi, age 84, died at Ralston Village on Thursday, August 10, 2006. Winnie was born July 7, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She moved to San Francisco as a child, where she attended Mission High School, graduating in 1941. Following WWII, she married recently discharged and Silver Star recipient Marine Sergeant, Claud James Airaudi in 1946. Winnie and Claud moved to Redwood City in 1949, where they resided until Claud's death in 2004. Winnie worked for the Redwood City School District as a Secretary at Garfield, Lincoln and Washington Elementary Schools, and the District Office from 1959-1983. In addition to raising two children, the always organized and people-loving Winnie became active in the Delta Chi Sigma charitable Sorority, serving as President and Fashion Show Chairwoman. She is survived by her children, Richard Airaudi of Danville, CA, and Claudia Myall of Redwood City, as well as their spouses Theresa Airaudi and Gregory Myall, and her grandchildren Jon, David and Michael Airaudi, and Meredith and Nathaniel Myall.
