Passed away on March 25, 2014 in Redwood City at age 82. Beloved husband to Frances. Loving father to sons Alan of San Francisco, Douglas (Nina) of Mountain House and daughter Debra (Albert) Chew Romero of Santa Barbara. Grandfather to Leigha, Christopher and Cameron Chew and Randall and Garrett Leong. Brother to Alma Wong and Ruth (Lawrence) Leong and Uncle to 23 nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by daughter in law Janice Lee, stepson Randy Leong, sister Rose and brothers Dewey and William.
Retired in 1997 from Frito Lay. Most recently worked at the sport venues for the Raiders, Athletics and Warriors.
Proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Belonged to numerous organizations including SIRS, Oakland Lawn Bowling, Alameda Chinese Club and AMF Bowling League.
He will be remembered for his funny laugh, his mischievous grin and his expressive eyes and all his STUFF! He enjoyed being surrounded by family and especially looked forward to holidays and family reunions. He was very proud of his many lifelong friendships that began during his early childhood.
