SHERREL QUEZADA Obituary

Sherrel Ann Quezada Oct. 14, 1957 Feb. 23, 2013 Resident of Oakley Sherrel Ann Quezada passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 after a strong fight with Ovarian Cancer. She touched many lives with her love, patience and thoughtfulness for others. She was always there in the blink of an eye to help those in need. Most of her time was given to others by volunteering for many activities, clubs, and sports for the community of Oakley. Sherrel was born in Oakland, CA and graduated from Moreau High School in 1975. Sherrel managed the property at the Christian Church Homes in Brentwood, CA. for the past eight years. She enjoyed cooking, being with family and friends, being outdoors and planning family and friend gatherings. Sherrel is survived by her loving husband, Jeff, devoted children, Vincent and Vanessa and her two loving grandchildren Dominic and Danika all of Oakley. Also her loving parents, Vincent and Sally Palazzotto; her sisters Pamela DelaTorre, Lisa Hague and her brother John Palazzotto all of Oakley as well as her aunts Nancy Neves and Dolores Ragusa. She had 10 nieces and nephews and 3 great niece and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 971 O'Hara Ave in Oakley. Immediately following she will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, 2200 East 18th St in Antioch. The family prefers in lieu of flowers, donations to be sent to Stanford University Development Office, P.O. Box 20466 Stanford, Ca 94309. Please indicate in your tax-deductible donation "In Memory of Sherrel Quezada" to be directed to research for Ovarian Cancer referring to Tax ID#94-1156365.

What a shock to hear of your illness and passing!! We worked together on FHS Grad Night as well as FHS Boosters and crossed paths several times over the years and now your gone!
