Resident of Union City
Reginaldo"Reggie"G. Galan, a resident of Union City for 75 years, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife and family at his side at the age of 80 years old. Reggie is survived by his loving wife Frances of 60 years, seven children, Delia McAteer of Manteca, Manuel of Oregon, Emma Cook of Hayward, Reggie Jr. of Hayward, Gina DeJong of Union City, Phillip of Oklahoma and Alfie of Manteca, along with two sisters Olga Chavez and Soila Uribes, with 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. A memorial service will take place Thur., Feb.28,2013 at 1:00 pm., at Grissom's Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo.

Sincere condolences to the entire Galan Family. Reggie was always warm, friendly, and loved to laugh. A good man, father, and friend. He will always remain in my memories.
