AURELIA E. SIMI passed away in Sacramento on September 15, 2001. Beloved husband of the late Dino Simi, Loving mother of Shirley Pennington of Carmichael. Sister of Nella Strauss and Fine Giuntoli of Italy, Loving grandmother of Teri Beddard and Todd Pennington and great-grandmother of Haley Beddard, Shelby Beddard and Tyler Pennington. Sister-in-law of the late Sprama Giovannetti, Cousin of Hazel Sabatini and also survived by many nieces and nephew in Italy. A native of Castellarte de Pescia, Italy aged 92 years. A member of Son's of Italy, Italian Catholic Federation and the Legion of Mary of St. Joseph Basilica. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 at St. Joseph Basilica 1109 Chestnut St., Alameda. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward following the Funeral Liturgy. Visitation Tuesday, September 18, 2001 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Greer Family Mortuary 2694 Blanding Ave., Alameda.
