JO ANN ALDAMA

1932 - 2010

Jo Ann Aldama Passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010 in Fresno, CA at the age of 78. She was born on March 5, 1932 to Oscar and Grace (Dishman) Brosi in Cedar Rapids, NE. Jo Ann and her family soon moved to Southern California where her father was employed in Aircraft Manufacturing. At the age of 14 JoAnn and her family moved to Madera, she completed her education and graduated from Madera high School class of 1950. In 1954 JoAnn married Abel Aldama and they soon moved to Fremont, CA where they resided for 40 years, Abel was employed at Ford Motor Company until his retirement. Jo Ann attended New Covenant Community Church in Fresno and was a member of the Ladies Aux of VFW post 1981, the Red Hat Ladies Society and enjoyed visiting various casinos. She is preceded by her parents, husband and siblings Margie Veatch, Kenneth Brosi, Betty Ruby, Marion "Red" Brosi, Norma Rogers, Bill Brosi, Barbara Sage and Bobby Brosi. JoAnn is survived by her children: Paul Aldama of Milpitas, CA, Daniel Aldama and his Wife Susan of Whittier, CA, Yvonne Aldama of Fresno, Lawrence Aldama of Reno, NV, Brian Aldama of Roseville, CA, her siblings, Oscar Brosi and his wife Glen Dora, Jim Brosi and his wife Nina, Pat Rollins and her husband Don all of Madera. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wed. March 17, 2010 from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera, CA. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Jay Chapel at Madera, CA with interment to follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
