Resident of Newark
Anita passed away on April 19, 2013 at the age of 96. She was a loving mother to her children; Renato Gaoiran and his wife Elena, Orlando Gaoiran and his wife Lulu, Clarita Corpuz and her husband Camilo, Jose Gaoiran and his wife Nita, Magdalena Davey and her husband Peter and Orlino Gaoiran and his wife Jacqueline. Beloved grandmother to 30 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Concita Tapia.
She was born on July 23, 1916 in Laoag City, P.I.. Anita enjoyed going to church, shopping, going to garage sales and being with friends and family.
Visitation will be held at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Perlata Blvd., Fremont, 94536, on Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25 from 4-8pm with a Vigil service on Thursday at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass at St. Edward Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, 94560, Friday, April 26 at 10:30am. burial to follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
