July 24, 1933 - July 2, 2013
Longtime resident of Alameda
Passed away peacefully on July 2nd, 2013 at the age of 79. Born in Oregon City, Oregon. Longtime resident of Alameda. She was a 1951 graduate of Alameda High School. She is survived by Lou Baca, her husband of 50 years, and her children; Nannette Hamaker, Ralph Baca, George Baca, Kenneth Baca, and Lauren Baca. She is also survived by many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to her Visitation Wednesday July 10, 2013 from 5 PM to 8 PM and Funeral Service on Thursday at 11:00am in the New Beginnings Chapel of the Alameda Funeral and Cremation Services, 1415 Oak Street, Alameda with Rev. Roger Bauer, Officiating. Interment: National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl), Honolulu, Hawaii. For further information please call: Harry W. Greer, Funeral Director (CA Lic. 745).

So many memories of Betty since I was a young girl. She wasn't just my Aunts Co-Worker...She was my friend! You'll be missed Betty. Especially that adorable laugh of hers. Prayers to all the Baca Family with love and warm hugs, xoxoxo Theresa Oertwig and Family.

Betty and I met many many years ago in water color class. I am so sorry to here of her unexpected passing. I will remember her fondly.

I have so many fond memories of Betty, going out to our "Teamster" dinners. All the fun, all the laughs, all the craziness. She will be truly missed by me.
