Clifford Asbill Obituary

Clifford Lee Asbill Feb. 8, 1930 - Mar. 2, 2013 Resident of Castro Valley Clifford Lee Asbill passed away peacefully at Bay Point Nursing facility in Hayward, on Sat., Mar. 2, 2013. Born in Calistoga, CA to William and Mildred Asbill on Feb. 8, 1930, Cliff graduated from Fremont High School in Oakland in 1948. Cliff will be best remembered as owner of the Rich Paint Company in Oakland until it was sold in 1996. Cliff was very active in the Exchange Clubs of Oakland and San Leandro/Alameda, supporting all events wholeheartedly. Cliff is survived by Freddie, his loving wife of 62 years, and four sons, Dr. Mark Asbill (Martha) of Long Beach, David and Bruce Asbill of Clovis, NM, and Michael Asbill of Brentwood. Also survived by daughter-in-law Pamela Asbill and brothers Roger Asbill and Bradley Thomas. Cliff also leaves 6 grandchildren, Michelle, Brian, and Lisa in Long Beach and Matthew and Trisha Asbill (John) and Heather Armerding (Ben). A memorial service will be held on Mar. 16, 1pm at Chapel of the Chimes, Oakland, 4499 Piedmont Ave. No flowers please. A donation to your favorite charity is preferred.
