Donna Geer, 57 of Newark Ca, passed away on March 18, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on June 14, 1956 in Chicago Ill, to the late Irene and William Keane. Donna was the youngest of three and is survived by her oldest sister Patricia Alicia of Ione, Ca. She had three sons, all married and five grand children. Ryan and April Geer, Christopher and Bernadette Geer all of Oakley, Ca and Sean and Patricia Geer of Turlock, CA. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bunko with the girls and had a heart of gold.
A 5:00 P.M. memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of The Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, California.

I wanted to express my sincere condolences to Donna's family. I remember her fondly, she was such a lovely, kind, hard working individual. Donna and I worked together for 5 yrs at the corporate office of Ross Stores in Newark.(1985-1990) We were in the same department, I worked at the reception desk and then later in Loss Prevention before I quit and moved out of the area. I was very sad to hear of her passing, I have nothing but good memories, lots of laughs with her. You were so lucky to have her in your lives.
