Elmina Marie (Pontes) Coppolo, passed away on friday Oct.18,2013 at the age of 87. Elmina was born in Taunton, MA, and was the middle child of Augustino and Cedalia Pontes. She is survived by her 3 daughter's Beverley (Arthur) Pelley of ID, Margie (Don) Miller of OR, Pamela Miller and former son inlaw Dan Miller both of CA, and son Albert (Pam) Coppolo of NV, and her Siblings Manual (Yvonne) Pontes, Albert Pontes, Margaret Isquirdo, Joseph (Fifi) Pontes all of CA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Misty, Erica, Todd, Kristy, Trevor, Albert, Shanyai, Travis and Mesiah, and her five great grandchildren Conner, Hannah, Shea Lynn, Nan, and Fynn, along with many nieces and nephews. Elmina was preceded in death by both of her parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers, Elmina had many friends and neighbors. She enjoyed her membership in a variety of clubs, such as President of St. Felicitas Women's Club, and volunteering with Hope Hospice. She lived life her way to the end, and will be remembered for her indomitable spirit. A visitation will take place from 4pm-8pm on Thur Oct 24th at Grissom's Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd, San Lorenzo with Mass to take place on Fri, Oct 25th starting at 10:30am at St. John's Catholic Church across the street from the Mortuary. Interment will then follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
