Gertrude Adam entered into rest November 15, 2012 at Kaiser Hospital in Fremont, CA. Born in Pennsylvania to Benjamin and Selina Balliard she was 87 years old and a long time Fremont resident where she was an original Washington Hospital employee. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, scrabble and doing crossword puzzles, but most of all her joy and passion was her family.
Beloved wife of the late Albert Adam, devoted mother of Tom Adam of Scotts Valley, CA, Allan Adam and Jim Adam both of Fremont, CA. Loving grandmother of John, Ryan, Michael, Marion and Ellen and great grandmother of Julian, Lilia, Alina, Maya and Adriana.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm November 19th at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA followed by burial at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

To all of our California cousins,
We are sorry that we won't have the chance to visit with Aunt Gay again. I have many happy memories of the whole family coming Home to see us and our trip to CA in '59...long ago. More recently we enjoyed a visit to CA and certainly appreciated your MOm coming to see us. We always had such fun. We spoke of your Mom at Thanksgiving, of course, and the consensus is that she was the most prgressive of the Balliard "girls".
Hope your memories give you comfort at this difficult time.
