Karen Keeney Obituary

Resident of San Leandro
Karen died at home on April 3, 2013. She was employed by PW Market in Castro Valley for many years, and had just completed her course work in Medical Assisting at Carrington College. She will be missed by her son, Rick Chaves; her adoptive parents, Ronald and Carolyn Keeney, her brother, David Keeney (Prudence), her birth mother, Jesse Senibaldi, and her beloved fiancé, Gordon Michael Pacheaco. Karen cared deeply for people and animals, and was "Mom" or "Grandma" to many young people in the neighborhood. A celebration of her life will be held on April 29 at 1 pm at First United Methodist Church, 1600 Bancroft Avenue, San Leandro. Donations in Karen's memory may be made to Davis Street Family Resource Center.
