Resident of Newark
Entered into rest on April 28, 2013 in San Jose, CA at the age of 39. Devoted husband of 14 years to his high school sweetheart Monalisa Terra. Beloved father of Anthony Terra, and Victoria Terra. Cherished son of Leonildo and Eduardina Terra. Caring brother to Maria and Aaron Huffer. Loving uncle to Ryan, Alexis, and Cassandra. Beloved son-in-law to Ray and Lucy Santellano, uncle to Cynthia and Vincent, and brother-in-law to Raymond and Lora. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and god parents.
Born March 4, 1974 in Fremont, CA, Leonildo was a member of Stylin East Bay Car and Truck Club. He enjoyed coaching his son at Newark Soccer Club, playing with the Newark Portuguese Sport Club, and being a competitive body builder. He loved his dogs Princess and Tank.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5, from 1-5pm with a Vigil at 3pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 6, 10:30am at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, CA 94560. Burial will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont, CA.

Ay My God this is so difficult for all of us. Many prayers for all the family.
Deeply from my heart. This passing has helped me realize how fragile we are. Having 5 kids and a beloved wife makes me focus less on cleaning and more on them. Dear Lady your husbands passing will always be a reminder to me to be a better person and human being cause that is what I will be remembered for. I'm coach Emilio Sanchez, I coached 2011 the U-8 boys America Team and U-16 Boys Newark California Smurfs team. I met your husband on the field. He was such a good strong and likeable human being. Please stay strong. You have like I would say in spanish RRETOÑITOS or offsprigs my sister and know that every time you see into their eyes there is an I love you from your husband. This was a tough loss for everyone espescially for the wifeand parents .I know i didnt get a chance to say to his parents ,Junior was a well rounded person,respectful ,courteous and always when we saw each other he would always always shake my hand with a smile .Now a days not many his age do that .Things like this and loosing this type is a great great loss not just to us but to everyone .
