Maria Blei Obituary
Resident of Fremont
Entered into rest on October 14, 2013 in Fremont, CA at the age of 82. Preceded in death by her husband Ariman Blei. Survived by her brother: Theo Kramer; and sisters: Thereia Bieckmann-Kramer and Louisa Kramer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Born December 11, 1930 in Amsterdam, Holland, Riet was 1 of 10 children. She finished high school and went on to study French, German, and English. She came to the United States in 1958 with her husband Harry. She was employed as a French and German language teacher. She received her Masters degree in Arts. After her teaching period Riet worked for Westinghouse in Sunnyvale for 20 years as a librarian.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, from 12-2pm and a Chapel Service will begin at 2pm, all at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Inurnment at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont, CA.
May the angels guide her to paradise.
