Resident of Hayward
Marie was a 75 year resident of Hayward, was born March 13th, 1919 passed away peacefully on April 25th, 2013 at the age of 94.
She was a business owner/operator of Mission Center Wash & Dry in Hayward for over 40 years.
She is survived by her 3 daughter's Yvonne Rivera of Castro Valley, Carol Fox of Clear Lake, Darlene Hoffman of Merced and her brother Frank Diener of Fresno, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, niece's and nephews.
She was a beautiful woman with silky smooth skin, always a fashionable woman with up to date clothing through out all the different decades she lived.
Marie loved Elvis Presley, enjoyed all types of music and road trip up to Tahoe in one of her many Lincoln's through out the years. She was a huge animal lover, until the end as she was still feeding a stray cat who took to her porch as it's new home.
She enjoyed her yard and garden always full of beautiful flower's. She had a magical touch with her Orchids.
We will miss you Mama, Gramms & G. G.
Marie's family would also like to thank Norma Alvarez who was Marie's live-in care taker and angel on earth for the past 10 years. Thank you for the wonderful loving care you gave her each and every day.
Graveside Service will be Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Lone Tree Cemetery, Hayward.
