Monty Webb Obituary
Resident of Manteca
Monty Lee Webb, longtime resident of Fremont/Newark, made a peaceful transition on Mar. 7, 2013. Born Nov. 14, 1941 in Oregon City, Oregon, Monty was baptized into the Community of Christ Church in 1949 and graduated from Washington High in Fremont in 1959. He spent 20 years at General Motors and retired from Reliable Cable in 1994. There was always a western on the TV between his many phone conversations keeping everyone up on the latest news. Monty's love for cars started early on, owning a 1923 Fat T, 1927 Tall T and late 50's classic Plymouth, and he was known as "Towbar" within the Nor-Cal Early Iron car club. Monty helped anyone in need, whether a bed to sleep in or a ride to the store. He spent numerous years volunteering at The Learning Tree as a handyman, and wanted it remembered that he "never hurt anyone."
Monty is preceded in death by his parents, Avis and Vic Mowreader and brother Dale Mowreader. He will be dearly missed by his former wife Patricia; children Jennifer Logan and husband Shawn, Edward Webb and wife Sharon, and Rebecca Webb; grandchildren Christopher, Nicholas, Ondrea, Skylar, Derien, Owen and Bryce; and great-grandchildren Aiyanna and Amarriella. Monty also had numerous honorary children, including Terry Powell and Teriann Padilla. A celebration of his life will be held at the Community of Christ Church, 2705 Tully Road, Modesto, CA on March 23, at 11:00.

Pop, it's been years now. I miss you! You were my friend and you understood me. You would look at me sideways when I was foolish, but you supported me in any of my endeavors. You taught me to accept everybody that was sincere regardless of ones background. The best lessons in my life you taught me. I love you!

OHH My Brother. I still miss you, and all the good times we had together. We Grew up and had so much fun in the FIFTIES. We "KRUZED" in the HOT RODS and spent 63 Years Together .
