Resident of Fremont
Paul Mognaga passed away on April 22, 2013 at the age of 80 in Fremont. He was a loving husband to his wife of 62 years, June Mognaga. Beloved father to his children Susan Mognaga and Dino Mognaga and his wife Sherri. Cherished grandfather to Darrel, Melissa, Talon, Dan and Nicole. Also survived by his sisters, Barbara Jean Pagan and Dolores Quintana. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kathy Mognaga in 2007 and by his brother George Mognaga in 2008.
Born July 5, 1932, Paul graduated from Washington High School in 1952. After high school he enlisted in the National Guard Reserves where he served 13 years, 3 of those being active. For 25 years Paul worked for FUSD as transportation supervisor, then 14 years at Gillig and ended his career with 7 years at Nor Cal Steel.
Visitation will be held Thursday, 4-8pm with a Chapel Service at 6:30pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, 94536. Private family burial.
