Resident of Castro Valley
Ralph, an Ohio native, resided in Castro Valley since 1949. It was through his work with the California Conservation Corp that brought him to Lovelock, Nevada where he met his wife, Lillian, of 59 years. Ralph worked in Steel Fabrication for 40 years. One of his last jobs was straightening and re-forming the tracks for the San Francisco Cable Cars. After retiring Ralph could frequently be seen walking at Lake Chabot and other local parks. Ralph bowled regularly and the Bowler's Hall fame inducted him in 1986.
Ralph was preceded in death by his wife and is survived by his loving children, James Good of Rapid City, SD, Edward Good of Placerville, Clifford Good of Livermore, Arthur Good of Nevada City, Mary Williams of Castro Valley, Corinne Andrews of Livermore, Nadine Good of Castro Valley, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Mildred Turner, Betty Lyons, and Eileen McKnight, all of Ohio.
Friends and family are invited to funeral services on Friday March 22, 2013. Viewing will be at 10 a.m, followed by the service at 11 a.m. at Jess C. Spencer Mortuary 21228 Redwood Rd. in Castro Valley. Private burial to follow in Oakdale.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Meals on Wheels 1435 Grove Way
Hayward, CA. 94546, in memory of Ralph Good.

What a Nice Man... I remember Ralph always telling me he walked 5 or 10 miles today...before he came in and bowled league. He always had a Smile on his face...

My parents Paul & Jean Bonham, were good friends of your family for many years. I remember my dad referring to your dad as "Goody".
Now they are altogether once again.

Ralph was an inspiration to all of his neighbors. He lived a wonderful life on his own terms. Godspeed, our friend.
