Resident of San Leandro
Ron went home to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning March 19th 2013 at San Leandro Hospital with his mother, sister and nephew by his side. He was 64.
Ron was preceded in death by his loving father Bernard Thomas Harkins (1920-2005) and is survived by his mother Virginia Harkins, sister Candice Stetzer, her husband Gregg Stetzer and their children Keith Towers, Benjamin Towers and Erin Thornton.
Ron was born in Hayward,CA on September 14th 1948 and lived in San Leandro. Ron graduated from San Lorenzo High School and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era.
Funeral Services will be held at Church of the Assumption, 1100 Fulton Ave. San Leandro, CAon Friday April 5th 2013 at 11:00AM. It is open to family and friends.
Ron will be interned at a private ceremony at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward, CA along side of his father.
